CADIG is an independent hockey scouting agency. We evaluate players, study development pathways and research league and career outcomes.

Our approach.

Traditional scouting is at the centre of what we do. We add structure and context to it: how a player plays, the environment their production came from, and how their game is likely to carry over to a higher level.

The numbers don't replace hockey judgment. They connect what our scouts see with the evidence and development history behind it, so every evaluation is clearer and easier to trust.

  • Scout the trajectory

    Current ability matters, but so do rate of improvement, role growth, physical development and adapting to stronger competition.

  • Context before comparison

    Age, league, role, teammates and opportunity shape what production means. Raw totals from different leagues aren't treated as equal.

  • Traits before totals

    We ask how a player creates value: skating, processing, decision speed, transition, play away from the puck, compete and skill.

  • Grade ourselves

    Every projection eventually meets an outcome. We track what we got right, what we missed, and why.

We don't represent players, so we have no stake in where a player ends up. That lets us give teams, programs and families a straight answer.

Each report states what we saw, what the data says and what we project, and keeps those three things apart.
