Kevin Davison brings a lifelong passion for hockey and a strong understanding of the game to CADIG. Having grown up playing minor hockey and later gaining valuable experience as a coach, Kevin understands player development from both the player’s and coach’s perspectives.
His evaluation approach looks beyond statistics to understand the complete player — skating, puck skill, hockey sense, compete level, decision-making, work ethic, coachability, consistency and the habits that may translate as competition becomes stronger.
Kevin focuses on what a player can become, not simply what that player is today.
Kevin’s background as a former minor hockey player and coach gives him firsthand perspective on player development from both sides of the process. He understands the challenges young athletes face as they build skills, earn larger roles, respond to coaching and adapt to stronger levels of competition.
Kevin combines traditional hockey evaluation with CADIG’s live scouting, video and analytics framework. He studies how a player reads the game, competes without the puck, makes decisions under pressure, interacts with teammates and coaches, and whether the habits driving current performance are likely to translate.
Kevin has completed training in player scouting and applies a structured, objective evaluation process. He separates current production from underlying traits and longer-term development potential, with the goal of identifying sustainable strengths, meaningful development priorities and the environments in which a player may be best positioned to succeed.
