Kevin grew up playing minor hockey and later coached, so he understands player development from both the player's and the coach's side.

His evaluations look past the stat line to the complete player: skating, puck skill, hockey sense, compete level, decision-making, work ethic, coachability, consistency and the habits that carry over as competition gets stronger.

Kevin focuses on what a player can become, not only what that player is today.

Background

A former minor hockey player and coach, Kevin knows the challenges young players face as they build skills, earn bigger roles, respond to coaching and move up against stronger competition.

How he scouts

Kevin pairs traditional evaluation with CADIG's live, video and analytics framework. He watches how a player reads the game, competes without the puck, decides under pressure and works with teammates and coaches.

Projection

Kevin has completed player-scouting training. He separates current production from underlying traits, to find lasting strengths, the right development priorities and the environments where a player is most likely to succeed.
